Peace Corps Armenia celebrates Peace Corps Week from February 25 - March 3.

Chargé d´Affaires, a.i. Joseph Pennington and Peace Corps Armenia Director Lee Lacy opened Peace Corps Week in Armenia by naming the winners of the Outstanding Director /Counterpart Award that recognized Armenian NGO directors and counterparts who have made exceptional efforts to work with Peace Corps Volunteers. The winners of the award are Melanya Yepremyan, Director of the Disabled Children´s Parents´ "Astghavard" NGO in Vardenis, and Artsrun Mkhitaryan, Director of Green Tavush non-government organization in Ijevan.
